WHY IT MATTERS

  • Show up above everything else on Google, including the regular ads
  • Pay only when a real customer actually contacts you
  • The Google Verified badge tells customers you've been screened and backed
  • Junk leads get disputed and refunded, and we file every dispute
  • We handle Google's screening paperwork so you don't have to
  • $250 per month flat, with no setup fee

THE TOP SPOT ON GOOGLE ISN'T A REGULAR AD ANYMORE

Search for a painter or a detailer in your town and look at what comes up first. Above the ads, above the map, above every organic result, there's a row of local businesses with photos, star ratings, and a green checkmark. Those are Google Local Services Ads, and they work differently than everything below them. With regular ads you pay every time someone clicks, whether they were a real customer or not. With LSAs you pay only when someone actually contacts you through the ad. A click that goes nowhere costs you nothing. For a local service business, it's the best real estate on the internet, and most of your competitors don't even know it exists.

THE GREEN CHECKMARK CUSTOMERS TRUST

That checkmark is the Google Verified badge, which replaced the Google Guaranteed badge, and customers have learned what it means. To earn it, your business passes Google's screening: proof of license where required, proof of insurance, and background checks. Google stands behind it too. If a customer books a verified business through an LSA and the job goes wrong, Google may reimburse them up to $2,000. You're not just buying ad placement. You're borrowing Google's credibility, and for a customer choosing between three businesses they've never heard of, that badge decides it more often than you'd think.

DO YOU QUALIFY?

Google limits LSAs to real service categories, and the list covers most of the small businesses we work with: painters, auto detailers, landscapers, lawn care, snow removal, pressure washing, junk removal, handymen, cleaners, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofers, and dozens more. If you run a service business in the North Country or anywhere else, odds are good you qualify. The fastest way to find out is to ask us. It takes one conversation.

WE HANDLE GOOGLE'S PAPERWORK

The screening that makes the badge valuable is also the reason most business owners never finish setting up. License documents, insurance certificates, background checks, and a Google Business Profile that has to be verified and linked before anything goes live. It's exactly the kind of paperwork that sits in a tab for three months. We handle all of it: we prepare the application, submit the documents, link your Business Profile, and chase Google until you're approved. Approval usually takes a few days to a few weeks depending on your trade, and you don't touch a form.

NOT EVERY LEAD IS REAL, SO WE DISPUTE THE JUNK

Anyone who's run LSAs will tell you the leads aren't all winners. Wrong service, wrong town, spam calls, someone looking for a job instead of a quote. Here's what most owners don't know: Google refunds those, but only if someone files the dispute, and only within 30 days. That's part of our management. We review every lead that comes in, dispute the ones that don't count, and get those charges credited back. Businesses that stay on top of disputes typically recover a meaningful slice of their spend. Businesses that don't just eat it.

WHAT IT COSTS

LSA setup and management is $250 per month flat, and unlike most agencies, we don't charge a setup fee. The going rate elsewhere is $300 to $1000 just to get started, before management even begins. Your lead budget is separate and goes to Google. What a lead costs varies by trade: in big metro markets painters pay around $40 a lead and landscapers around $39, and smaller markets like ours typically run less. We'll help you set a budget that makes sense, and since you only pay for real contacts, the math is easy to watch. Like our other ad services, there's a three month minimum, then it runs month to month.

HOW YOU WIN THE TOP SPOT

Reviews, Responsiveness, Radius

Google doesn't rank Local Services Ads by who bids the most. It ranks them by who customers are most likely to be happy with, and that comes down to three things we call the three R's. The good news is that all three can be worked on, and two of them are exactly what our CRM system automates.

  • Reviews: Your LSA rating pulls straight from your Google Business Profile reviews. More five-star reviews means a higher position. Our reputation management add-on requests a review after every job automatically.
  • Responsiveness: Google tracks how fast you answer LSA calls and messages, and slow responders sink. Missed-call text-back means every lead gets an answer in seconds, even when you're on a ladder.
  • Radius: Your service area needs to match where you actually work. Too wide wastes budget on jobs you'll never take. We tune it to the towns that make you money.
